Sensual Sensory

Sensual Sensory play, or sensory play as it is also known, is an umbrella term for a great many different types of play. It includes electro, wax, temperature play, scents, and different materials such as leather, latex, and lace, which are used to play with the senses of the receiver.

This will be an evening where we expect there to be an incredible amount of laughter, perhaps a bit quiet at times, but centered on the ability to focus on things both big and small. This is the evening where feathers are our best friends, and the heat of wax contrasts with ice cubes.

Pain is also allowed, but remember, this is the evening where we focus on other ways to trigger the senses than a lot of impact play. How about exploring other forms of pain for a masochist than just the flogger?

Suggestions for tools you can use in sensual sensory play:

• Clothespins
• Electro equipment
• Candles for wax. We recommend soy for those who haven't worked with this before and know where their limits are. Also bring a towel, sheet, or something else to lie on, and something to scrape the wax off with.
• Ice cubes. Temperature play is a fantastic way to play with the senses
• Rope. There are many ways to use rope in sensory play. We can also recommend other forms of bondage such as leather cuffs.
• Bear claws/pinwheels/nails? Bring the small sharp objects you forget exist.
• Feathers! Just be nice and don't bring so many that we keep finding them until next Christmas
• Blindfolds. By blocking one sense, the focus can be shifted to other senses
• Tastes. It is possible to bring fruits, buy chocolate, chips, nuts, and play with the sense of taste. See if the receiver can figure out what has been placed on their tongue by taste alone, when they haven't had the chance to see and smell it first. Or perhaps play with letting them smell something, but they taste something else??
• Fabrics. Bring textiles whose sensations you can play with. Perhaps hard denim being rubbed against a cheek, and soft satin against a knee?
